To support and reinforce their team they are looking for a (Senior) Product Manager.

 

The Position

We have an exciting opportunity as Product Manager, who will be responsible for the strategy implementation for the brand building of their product portfolio. You will be responsible for monitoring and liaising with the different internal and external stakeholders. The client is active in medicine, food supplements and medical devices.

The Product Manager is responsible for reaching the targets of their product portfolio, in collaboration with the Sales Managers, KAM, BIM, …. You will set the plan and strategy for the portfolio.

You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and be part of the Product Management team, consisting of three member colleagues, each focusing on their specific portfolio.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The Product Manager is responsible for:

  • The development of the full marketing strategies and plans (which consists of brand philosophy, brand vision, market research, competitor analysis/mapping, SWOT, B2B/B2C communication strategies), together with the sales colleagues, the KAM & BIM, at national and regional levels.
  • Establishing KPI’s & sales forecasts.
  • Managing budget & resources efficiently to generate the expected ROI.
  • Developing and providing trainings, product/environmental knowledge.
  • Giving direction to all stakeholders in order to ensure that they are aligned with the product vision, mission and strategy of the specific portfolio.
  • Developing and providing trainings, product/environmental knowledge, including giving direction to the sales teams to ensure that they are fully equipped with scientific and communication skills throughout the life cycle of each product.
  • Stimulating innovation and ‘out-of-the box’ ideas for you are an inspirational/motivational leader who promotes a ‘growth mindset’ across the organization by providing continuous trainings.
  • Translating the brand strategy into tactical plans and go2market-strategies, including the creation and development of promotional/scientific materials/tools (B2B/B2C), such like TV-spots, leaflets, digital campaigns, webinars, …
  • Partnering with and coordinating the cross-functional teams on brand initiatives
  • Creating good networking and liaising with healthcare professionals, KOLs, …
  • Conducting meetings.
  • Organizing & monitoring the competition watch.
  • Collaborating with the KAM on National Pharmacy groups level during Business reviews & for yearly investment plan preparations.
  • Having continuous contacts with the field : sales force and healthcare professionals
  • Inspiring and coordinating your portfolio in a team and engaging spirit.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Marketing and/or Business Management field.
  • You have a at least 5 years’ experience in marketing by preference in the life sciences, pharma industry or relevant other sector (FMCG).
  • You have a good knowledge of and experience in (digital) marketing, both ‘online/off line’ and different marketing approaches.
  • You like an ‘a to z’ approach where both market analysis and marketing strategy are part of your job as is the implementation of the plans in ‘a hands on approach’.
  • You have an analytical mindset and can work structured and autonomous.
  • You are team oriented and collaborative.
  • You have a proactive mindset in combination with great communication skills .
  • You are skilled in MS Office with focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, English is a plus.
