The Position

As a product specialist you will be responsible for sales and clinical support for your region, consisting of Antwerp, Limburg and the Flemish part of Brabant, focus on Louvain.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The Product Specialist is responsible for sales and clinical support of the products of our client

The Product Specialist is responsible to perform the above-mentioned tasks correctly and according to the medical-ethical standards and values in order to realize the targets as agreed.

You will report to the Sales Manager for the Benelux region

Overall responsibilities

  • Reaching targets for assigned product groups and customers under the supervision of the sales manager
  • Initiate, maintain, and strengthen building relationships with existing and potential new customers
  • Introduce, selling products according to the commercial strategy
  • Provide training to (potential) customers
  • Establish and follow quotations
  • Co-responsible for a constructive cooperation with colleagues in order to achieve an optimal market penetration
  • Collect, interpret and channel of relevant market- and product data
  • Attend congresses and symposia
  • Participate to sales meetings in Belgium and abroad
  • Figure as a contact for customers in the broadest sense of the word
  • Planning and reporting.
  • Your target group are the hospitals, the revalidation centers and bandagisteries

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of, and experience within the medical / hospital sector is a must
  • Team player
  • Long term relationship builder
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Used to work with KPI’s
  • Dashboarding and reporting culture
  • Knowledge sales techniques
  • Bilingual Dutch / English and good knowledge of French
